Vix in Japan's video: Making a HD anime style animation from Amiga Deluxe Paint pixel art

*This video starts in Japanese but is narrated In English.* You know, only using the Amiga and thinking that what's created on it has to be finished on it and stay within the system limits is one way of doing things. But that's not my personal interest, I use tools which work for me to get to the end result I see in my mind's eye - which is why I like Deluxe Paint, It's a tool that does the job I need but I use it in combination with other modern tools. I've been working on these techniques for a couple of years and had hoped to bring them out into the open some time before now but never got the chance to. In simple terms I took a hand drawn sketch, brought it into Deluxe Paint and created my character and then animated it. Then using Deluxe Paint and Photoshop together created a suitable background for my character to stand in front of; and finished the whole process off by importing the animation frames into Aseprite to create animated GIFs that I could bring into iMovie to create a cinematic scene. This is how I bring the old stuff into being relevant in my artistic vision in 2024.
