Vix in Japan's video: The long distance runner

@The long distance runner
Following up my musings in 'The fiction in between reality' video about 6 months ago, here is the follow up, "The long distance runner". Many people only see achieving your dream as the goal, the hardest part, but really that is just a mirage, because the hardest part is truly living your dream. My time in Japan has affirmed that on a daily basis, and sometimes it feels like I have become a long distance runner, seeing the miles pass me by, sometimes exhausted, sometimes elated but always having to keep some kind of pace to keep me on track. It's not a sprint finish, it's a long and winding route living your dream. And sometimes living that dream can be ironically monotonous as you build yourself up to truly fly in life, listening to your heart and not your mind, and somehow always finding just enough stamina to keep on going despite all the odds against you. I lost my tribe, mostly because I chose to refocus my efforts on YouTube 3 years ago, and that has meant gradually what I had built up faded, but I keep on going because I believe in what my heart is telling me, to focus on my Japanese studies and manga. Don't stay safe, don't rest, don't settle, don't look back. I feel sad I lost my tribe, I've become an island living on an island, but I keep on running because I can't stop believing in what my heart is telling me, keep going, this patience is soon to pay off. Patience is sometimes called long suffering in old editions of the Bible, personally I see it as being a long distance runner, you just have to keep on going and keep on believing in your dream. Even when life seems unrelenting, you just have to keep on going.
