Vix in Japan's video: Japan Road Trip 2022 and Philosophy Part 4: Social media needs shutting down - Shimane to Fukuoka

In this third video in my series "Journey Down Japan", my road trip over spring 2022 continues. I started from Iwate Prefecture and in this video cam covering the leg from Matsue in Shimane Prefecture to Fukuoka City in Fukuoka Prefecture making the crossing from Honshu, Japan's main island to Kyushu, Japan's third biggest main island and southern most of the main islands. In this episode I also discuss why I believe social media needs to be shut down for the good of the human and human society's soul. I believe it is now too far gone and is sowing division, hatred and many other totally pitiful things in our lives. Many people feel trapped by it and instead of offering freedom, it instead acts as a jail through which so much if not all of our online interactions go through. I contest that through a wide and varying means, it isn't working, and not because it's implicitly evil or run by evil, but because like HAL 9000, it had flaws in its logic leading to catastrophic consequences. I am aware of my hypocrisy posting this on YouTube and just about maintaining an Instagram gallery and twitter page for my manga Future Saviors; but I am at least up front and sincere in my beliefs. I think this will be my least popular video by far and expect to be pilloried for it; but I can't sit on the sidelines any longer watching social media destroy lives, societies and nations. Over the course of these videos I hope to explore how I have come to understand life, and learned to let go of seeking answers and finalities in a world that has precious few. By letting go, I've seen that life can take on a much more joyous and personally rewarding perspective that can only in turn spread much positive to those we love and hold dear in our lives. Places covered in this video include Shimane Prefecture, Yamaguchi Prefecture and Fukuoka Prefecture. I stopped in Odani in Shimane and Miyako Town in Fukuoka.
