Vix in Japan's video: Creating pixel art pastel color animated characters Saki s Rubbish Heap 2

2024 has been off to a rocky start in Japan and my heart is very much going out to all of those affected by huge earthquake in the Noto Peninsula and wider Ishikawa Prefecture and surrounding areas that occurred here on January 1st, arguably the biggest holiday in Japan. On top of that, the nasty accident at Haneda Airport in Tokyo occurring on January 2nd is indeed an inauspicious start to the new year. That aside, let's hope 2024 can start with more of an open heart, some human warmth in all of this horror, because it's cold and hard hearts that are setting this world on fire right now. That's where my skate rat Saki comes in. A whirlwind of expression, I'm working on something that will feature her and the other regulars from my manga Future Saviors eventually. There's quite a bit of artwork to create but this wraps up a pretty fundamental part of the artwork assets needed. After this I will turn my attention to some animations, title cards and backdrops. I'll unveil what all of this is for in due course but for now, I hope you can enjoy relaxing with me as I spend about 3 hours (sped up to ~10 minutes) in Deluxe Paint 4.1 on my emulated Amiga 500 setup, roughly replicating a 1988 Amiga 500 with a hard disk running Amiga Workbench 1.3 with a little extra RAM.
