Brandon Cooke (UK) Song Title: 28 Hazel Road Authors/Composers: Brandon Cooke and Danusia Gorbun (UK) Brandon Cooke hails from Jersey in the Channel Isles. He Fronted his first band at the age of 13, and went on to perform in cabaret shows, where he soon gained attention by winning a Variety Club (of Great Britain) Award. Brandon also secured a solo record with Mercury (Universal) and exchanged island life for London. After a few years, he embarked on a tour to promote new recording, gaining considerable radio and club attention in the UK and New York. He has recorded two albums, one of Sing classics and the other, a collection of luxurious ballads. His performances have also enabled him to raise in excess of 100,000 Pounds for various cancer charities. In addition, Brandon has received support of his own songs via BBC Music Introducing regional radio shows. 28 Hazel Road tells the story of his father, who came from Dublin, and moved jo Jersey. He was restless soul, but like so many parents, sacrificed his dreams so we could pursue ours.
