The Gibraltar International Song Festival made a triumphant return in 2007 after a prolonged period of rest. Since then, each edition has built on the achievements of its predecessors, resulting in ever-more spectacular and successful galas, and with many hundreds of songs from numerous countries worldwide being regularly entered in the competition. Don’t miss this great opportunity to get your music heard internationally and to pit your skills against those of fellow participants from all over the world. If you are a songwriter, you are eligible to enter, wherever you may be based. With free entry and great prizes, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We are delighted to announce that all the authors and composers of the songs selected for the Finals Gala of the GISF (due to be held at the Tercentenary Sports Hall, Gibraltar, on Saturday, 23 April, 2016) have confirmed their participation. Songs from authors, composers and singers from the following countries will be performed on the night: Cuba, Gibraltar, Israel, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain and UK. This year's festival attracted entries from: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Finland, Germany, Gibraltar, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom (England, Scotland and Wales), United States of America and Venezuela.
