Imagine if a bunch of black people or muslims stormed the capital building in a protest...the police would have been been so much more violent towards them. Our system of government, culture and police is clearly racists in many aspects. Obviously less racist than decades ago but it's clear that white conservative men are treated as less threatening to the police than people of color and that is a form of racism in our country.
