Plasma UKTransport's video: Lovely Sound Journey on Route 474 12410 YY66PHV Stagecoach London

@*Lovely Sound* Journey on Route 474 | 12410 (YY66PHV) | Stagecoach London
When 25/425 moved to Stagecoach London in May & July, 277 also moved from its home in BW to a new home at WH. This posed for all of the Enviro400H MMCs (12403-25) to move to WH as well. In addition a couple months later, 12336-8 moved to WH to aid for the 277. Then 12342 & 12345 moved after. All those hybrids are allocated to 277 but have made normal strays on other routes. Mostly 474 uses these YY66s almost everyday. On par with the smart hybrids it normally uses also. In today’s video, we have 12410, one of the better YY66s in the batch cruising via North Woolwich & Silvertown. Unfortunately the Silvertown routing has turned into a 30 zone which doesn’t make the 474 all that fun but with a good driver as seen here, you’re bound to get a fun run out of these. 474 uses these hybrids on a daily basis as it is so it is nice to check it out and does make a cool change rather than the standard smart hybrids which doesn’t quite match up to the BAEs. As it stands, 12336-8 also do the 474 which is also a fun ride especially on the N474 run. Although they’re not as common as the YY66s that occasionally do the 474. Other routes like 97, 238, 241 & 330 also use these buses but not as commonly as the 474. 86 & 678 can use these however, they’re strangely not blinded. So the times they have happened they’ve mainly been banditised. Check out my video below on 12406 (YY66PHK) working the 678 before starting work on the 86 - https://youtu.be/uzQUScAU7fE 12410 definitely has to be a top 3 of the YY66 batch with WH. BAEs always impress me especially with some sort of upgrade they have which makes them sound much better. I’m not sure what it is but it sort of does sound like an ultracap. The buses you often see on the 202 & 405. However, I don’t know for sure what is. Many Enviro400H MMCs have this sort of upgrade. This includes: EH146, EH282, 2492, TEH2078, 12418, EH76, 12374 (i think) & 12434. Either way I’m not complaining because those sounds are absolutely fantastic and hoping more BAEs receives these sounds Here’s some history and information of the 474: Route 474 is operated by Stagecoach East London from West Ham (WH). A 24hr route. Going via Silvertown, Pontoon Dock, London City Airport, North Woolwich Ferry (connecting to the Woolwich Ferry), U E L Docklands Campus, Cyprus, Beckton, Lonsdale Avenue, East Ham, Newham Town Hall & Romford Road (connecting Woodgrange Park for the London Overground). Main allocation is Smart hybrids, but is practically blinded for everything in the garage apart from some Scanias and 12342/12345. Technically the YY66s are allocated to the 474 as they almost do it everyday (then again it doesn’t really mean it is) 474 was previously operated by Go Ahead London and mostly allocated B9TLs on the route. Those B9TLs can now be found at BX normally doing the 51. They even had the B7TLs that only ever did the 474 as pretty much all routes were lost at the time. The B7TLs were the best buses on the 474 but quite a few were hoovers sadly. And when 474 was announced I was actually really excited for MMCs on the 241 & 330. And thought to be BAEs. Sadly they turned out to be smart hybrids which wasn’t as good as the BAEs I’d have hoped for. At least the YY66s make it sort of feel like it. With the 474 as well, the MMCs came in late which meant 474’s substitute of buses actually turned out to be TB’s ALX400 Dennis Tridents which in my opinion was absolutely fantastic to see as it would remind me of tridents on 474 that GAL used to have back in the 2000s times (the Dennis trident Lolynes). Those ALX400s managed to stay on until the MMCs came in July. They made very rare appearances like back in August and September at night. But the most notable one was the last time it would’ve ever happened. I even just so happened to have got the last one on its last trip ever. You can watch my video of it here: - https://youtu.be/XahqrgsM4XU And below you can check out my other videos of ALX400s on the 474: - https://youtu.be/9XdUVP9NQxM - https://youtu.be/2c25j-wOm4g - https://youtu.be/B9hOoR6QbS4 And also one last thing was back in 2018, a scania appeared back in July which was banditised and happened in the evening. I was hella lucky to get it that day and also was fantastic to get. Check it out here: - https://youtu.be/M8vOBWDmBZU Thank you all so much for watching! We’re near 900 subs and I’m sorry for not uploading as much. It’s kinda bought me down from Youtube and I’ve lost some motivation to do it too. But all I ever wanted was to reach 1,000 subscribers so if you are watching and haven’t yet subscribed, definitely do! It does motivate me to make videos when you guys subscribe. I have 2 upcoming videos for the rest of the year which includes my rewind and a visual. I will try to upload daily from today but I can’t promise anything. All I’ll say is these 2 upcoming videos are my most worked on..!! Copyright ©Plasma’s UKTransport 2020 The video cannot be used by anyone without permission
