Well, they just don't get more "classic" than this. Of course, this is Bill Plympton's very famous short film "25 Ways to Quit Smoking", from 1989, which aired on MTV's "Liquid Television" and on many DVD anthologies and was part of Bill's first DVD "Plymptoons". It also won the Prix du Public at the Annecy Film Festival and second prize at the Los Angeles Animation Celebration. Based on a book proposal that Bill made which didn't sell, but then he decided it would work better as an animated short. And Bill's mother, who smoked for 40 years, quit after seeing this film.
