Plymptoons's video: Guns on the Clackamas

@Guns on the Clackamas
The ULTIMATE "lost" Bill Plympton classic! Believe it or not, animator Bill Plympton made two live-action films in 1994-1995, after releasing his first animated feature, "The Tune". One of these live-action films was this 80-minute mockumentary about the making of a Western film that went HORRIBLY wrong. Enigmatic filmmaker Nigel Nado interviewed producer Holton P. Jeffers and the cast and crew (the ones that survived the shoot, anyway) to figure out what, exactly, went wrong with the filming of this disastrous epic Western. Did anything actually go RIGHT? Inspired by the true story of the film "Saratoga", which had to finish its shoot with a stand-in after actress Jean Harlow died. Bill took this idea and ramped it up - what if the entire cast of a film died in various tragic accidents? This film was released by Bill on VHS and DVD, but never theatrically and never through a major distributor - however, it still contains the type of dark yet ridiculous humor that Bill Plympton is known for. The debate rages, is this a "lost classic", or does it belong in the "it's so bad, it's actually good" category? Let us know what you think in the comments! According to the closing credits, lots of small furry animals with sad eyes were tortured making this movie. PLEASE NOTE: Bill was just kidding.
