Plymptoons's video: Making of Slide Part 3 - Maureen McElheron s Music with Animatic

Another video made during the 2020 Kickstarter campaign for Bill Plympton's upcoming animated feature, "Slide" - this one starts with Maureen McElheron playing a solo acoustic version of the "Lucky Buck Hostess Theme", combined with storyboards, this produces an "animatic", or early rough timed footage made before the final animation. In the second half, the music comes from the finished version, with other instruments and backing vocals. Maureen is a long-time collaborator of Bill Plympton's, her music has been featured prominentily in many of Bill's films, including "Your Face", "The Tune", "Hair High" and many others.
