INSANE FOOTAGE: In a wildly successful mission, Starship did a splashdown in Indian Ocean, mostly intact, with landing burn just before splashdown. Reentry heat is wicked - I've survived it 3 times. Learning a lot about the difference between simulation and reality today SpaceX. Congratulations on both soft splashdowns - pushing the envelope right to the edge. Excellent! Starship did a fucking flip maneuver and landing burn and successfully landed in the Indian ocean with three and a half flaps!!!!!! I have never seen anything like this!!! SpaceX take a bow! Most likely outcome of today's test is a clearer regulatory path to flight 5. Given that less than three months elapsed between IFT 3 and IFT 4, July does not seem out of play for the next test. Rapid iteration, indeed.
