Government Funding Catholic Schools This video discusses the heavily debated question as to whether or not Catholic schools should be funded by the government. My thoughts on Catholicism as a whole are not exactly traditional as a Christian, myself, but that doesn’t exactly change the results. The answer is somewhat unclear as to which side of the educational system is actually better for children, but the research leans heavily on Catholic School education. Should the government be funding Catholic Schools? I believe so, but the answer is more complicated than you might think. In my youth, I attended Catholic School, and so did a lot of my friends and family. The difference is clear; Catholic school graduates are more goal oriented and better prepared for the world than most public school graduates, and score much higher on standardized testing. Find out why and how. The only topic that isn’t covered is the sexual education or the lack there of in Catholic schools, which I am saving for part two of this controversial subject. As liberals attack the government funding of Catholic schools, we really have to assess the betterment of our youth, and whether or not the public school system is adequate to handle the entirety of children, with its ever slipping morality and overcrowded classrooms. This really is a Catholic school vs public school issue.
