Polly Tikkle Productions's video: Invasion Day 2015 - Australia Day - Survival Day

The Warriors for Aboriginal Resistance and the First Nations League joined forces on the 26th January 2015 to organize a smoking ceremony, rally and march to bring awareness to the dire reality that is the aboriginal situation in Ausralia to date. The march attracted some 1000 people. It strolled through a small barricade the police had set up and with impeccable timing invaded the official Australia Day Parade. The floats and groups on the official parade had just finfished but the audience to watch them had not disapated. The mainstream media reported that the Aboriginal Resistance march had disrupted the parade, but it had not. It simply tagged on to the end of it injecting a deep, disturbing and soulful message that white Australia has a black history that is far from resolved. Sorry about the "Resisitance" spelling mistake. ! I have disabled the comments, just under a year after this piece went up. This was not an easy choice as I am adamantly against censorship. The racist bullshit that was written was educative for me. I honestly thought that people would be clever enough to be secretive about their idiotic, brain numbing racism but this video piece taught me that I was wrong. At first I thought it was trolls who amuse themselves by being annoying (an impressive vocation) but now it does not matter anymore. I have chosen to censor it. Its all too ugly and allowing it to be up is to give voice to people's unresolved personal issues with their own xenophobia. They can air their dirty laudry somewhere else.
