Verzasca, Switzerland Verzasca, a crystal clear river, is located in Ticino canton in the very south of Switzerland. Its clear turquoise water attracts a lot of people to visit in summer. Sunbathing is a thing here since it can be very hot during the day, and a dip in the river is a must; it will make you feel refreshed. There are many activities: diving, hiking, swimming, sunbathing and jumping off a bridge. The water temperature is around 46 to 50 Fahrenheit (8 to 10C). It is cold for sure, yet worth swimming.
