Positive Music Promotion's video: Ostro da Reggae Festival na Rebel Salute Jamajka 2019

EN BELOW W drugiej połowie stycznia przedstawiciele PMP gościli na Jamajce. Odwiedziliśmy m.in. festiwal Rebel Salute, mieszczący się w rejonie St. Ann, którego głównym miastem jest Ocho Rios, z którym Ostróda podpisała umowę o miastach partnerskich w trakcie ORF 2018. Zaproszono nas do prezentacji festiwalu na poprzedzającej Rebel Salute The Herb Curb Conference w Ocho Rios, co możecie zobaczyć w filmie. Legendarny jamajski artysta i dziennikarz Mutabaruka zaprosił nas na rozmowę do swojej audycji w radio Irie.FM. W trakcie pobytu na Jamajce kilkukrotnie spotykaliśmy się z Burmistrzem Ocho Rios, Michaelem Belnavis, który wcześniej gościł w Ostródzie. Zostaliśmy również zaproszeni do jamajskiego Ministerstwa Kultury (Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport), gdzie odbyliśmy spotkanie z Ministrem Stanu Alando Terrelonge oraz dyrektorkami wydziałów Ministerstwa Marisą Benain oraz Gillian Wilkinson McDaniel. Rozmawialiśmy o zacieśnianiu współpracy festiwalu z Jamajką, m.in. w kontekście umowy o partnerstwie miast oraz idei World Reggae Contest. To była bardzo ciekawa wizyta i na pewno będzie miała wpływ na przyszłość polsko-jamajskich relacji. Dziękujemy za całe wsparcie w tych przedsięwzięciach dla Maxine Gawrone oraz Joan Webley z Jamaica Music Conference. EN In the second half of January, PMP representatives visited Jamaica. Among the others, we participated in Rebel Salute Festival, located in the area of St. Ann, whose main city is Ocho Rios, with whom Ostróda signed twin towns agreement during ORF 2018. We were invited to present the festival at Rebel Salute’s The Herb Curb Conference in Ocho Rios, as you can see in the movie. Legendary Jamaican artist and journalist Mutabaruka invited us to his radio show at Irie.FM. During our stay in Jamaica, we met with the Mayor of Ocho Rios, Michael Belnavis, who had previously visited Ostróda. We were also invited to the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport, where we had a meeting with Alando Terrelonge - State Minister, Ms. Marisa Benain - Director, Cultural Policy and Monitoring and Mrs. Gillian Wilkinson McDaniel - Acting Principal Director, Culture & Creative Industries Policy. We talked about tightening the cooperation of our festival with Jamaica, in the context of the twin towns agreement and our World Reggae Contest project. It was a very interesting visit and will certainly have an impact on the future of Polish-Jamaican relations.
