N-a avut nimeni pe lume cosite mai frumoase ca Salcia, fata padurarului. Cand o despletea s-o pieptene, parul ii ajungea pana la talpi si-i acoperea trupul ca-ntr-o mantie aurie. Pe vremea aceea erau scumpe oglinzile de clestar si fata in oglinda apei se pieptana si-si impletea parul. Si asta se intampla in fiecare dimineata la rasaritul soarelui. Isi impletea cosita si canta!
