The BS4 diesel variant has discontinued as a strategy, and also lower power diesel BS6 engines are expensive to produce and maintain, thus at present Super Carry will remain absent from the diesel powertrain. The Super Carry has successfully established in the 2T mini-truck segment competing against Tata Ace and Mahindra Jeeto, two strong competitors. It has created a dedicated and loyal customer segment of its own. Super Carry powertrain options include multi-point fuel injection G12B 1196 CC petrol and a 1196cc CNG. The two engines produce 72 hp/98 Nm, 64hp/85 Nm of power, and torque, respectively. Both the variants are with a five-speed manual gearbox that works along with a single plate dry friction. While the fuel tank on the petrol is 30 litres of fuel, the CNG trim comes with 35L with two cylinders. The higher power engines allow the Super Carry to take up to 740 kg in petrol and 625 kg in the CNG model effortlessly. Both the models can do a top speed of 80 kmph, and the petrol & CNG models gradeability is 21% for better climbing capabilities.
