Sri parashurama temple is located on the top of Vimana Giri Hill. There is no gopura here, which is usually seen on the sanctum sanctorum. A beautiful decorated small idol of Parasurama is worshiped in the Panipeeta of the sanctum. Although the idol is small, the body structure of Dashtpushta is well revealed. With a crown on the head, modest attire and ornaments, the idol has a small parashu in its right hand and a long bow in its left hand.
