"Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!" Grateful...the old saying, "I couldn't be more grateful..." Yet, in this area, I believe there will ALWAYS be room for improvement, especially while remaining in this sinful flesh.... I am SO very grateful for all the Lord has done for me...for His salvation, His love, His mercy, His protection and provision, His long-suffering and patience...yet, I know my gratitude toward and for Him falls ever so very short...which makes me even more especially grateful...for His grace. If we could TRULY and wholly grasp that from which the Lord has saved us...I don't believe His praises would ever leave our lips...or our hearts, even but a moment. But...one day, and one day very soon, this earthen vessel is going to be transformed...we will be made JUST like Him, and THEN...we... we will GET IT! Our understanding of the magnitude and the depth of the riches of His grace toward us will be opened, and we will be able to show the overflow of our gratitude by worshiping Him in the unabridged fullness of perfection that He so rightfully and truly deserves...for all of eternity...and then FOREVERMORE. And oh, what a glorious day that will be!!!! But, let's not wait. It may not be perfect, but it's all wrapped in His grace!!
