Pramit Mitra's video: INDIAN RAILWAYS : Monsoon Magic along Coastal Andhra Pradesh

The entire stretch from Vijaywada to Srikakulam Road along the eastern coastline of India through Andhra Pradesh is a treat to any nature lover during monsoon. The green Eastern Ghats give you company though out the entire stretch. Coconut and palm trees lace the landscape along the tracks to bring out picturesque scenes along your journey. This video features my journey from Vishakhapatnam (Vizag) to Srikakulam Road in the afternoon sun. Witness a grand run as my train (12864 Yesvantpur Howrah Express) nonchalantly eases past the coastal plains. In the backdrop, witness the sky turning from pleasant blue to the angry dark grey at the end of which we witness some heavy rainfall. The crossings with a ALCo led passenger and the Falaknuma Express are just icings on top of the cake. We were led by Santragachi WAP-4 .
