Shot in peak monsoon, this video features the passage of the Sampark Kranti through the heart of and major parts of . Led by a WAP-7 from numbered and later by a WDP-4D numbered we cover the Itarsi - Bengaluru stretch in this installment. Part ONE(https://youtu.be/c0ZtyO-omN8) had ended with us having reached little before 10 pm on Day-1. Part TWO starts right from here. The initial scenes features our departure from Itarsi after 10 pm as we prepare for the night. Enter Maharashtra, we pass through and at night and pick up from at daybreak on Day-2. Puntamba, which is very near to also gives us a glimpse of River in the early morning light. A passage through the green Deccan Plateau follows as we head south towards Daund Jn with an unscheduled halt at . We cross River right before where we also have our first reversal of the journey. Soon arriving is where we switch to diesel power after yet another reversal. It is after Pune that the real treat starts. We cross the vast landscapes of the ghats over viaducts, tunnels and some fascinating curves. The curve is sure to keep you spellbound. This section also features many rock cuttings with the one at being the most notable one. We pass though a solitary hill on a giant right hand curve and there are moments where we can view the train front on the other side of the hill. This changes a bit after as the hills increase their distance from us but still give us company. Cloud covered peaks, lush green surroundings and gentle breeze forms the perfect setting as we coast into which happens to be the last halt in Maharashtra. starts soon and our tryst with the hills continue. We also happen to pass over some gigantic gradients and curves in the section along with a crossing of River filled with muddy water owing to monsoon. The actions for the day end effectively at also known as earlier. Night and darkness takes over we head southwards past and later on and to call off Day-2. Day-3 is short and simple as we complete the formalities to enter some 25 minutes delayed; wrapping up a journey of 2614 kms in 46 hours over some fascinating land-forms and routes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Features crossings with the following trains :- 1.
