It is a famous recipe in all over India. But, in this video I have shown you the typical odia style dahi baigana which is one of the most popular side dish in Odisha. It is very easy to make with less ingredients. This recipe is made with curd , brinjal / eggplant , mustard oil and with some spices. As it is a side dish, it can be served with any Indian meal or with plain rice . Ingredients : 1. Thick sour curd - 2 cups 2. Brinjal / Eggplant - 7-8nos(small,black) 3. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp 4. Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/2 tsp 5. Roasted cumin and red chili powder - 1/2 tsp 6. Salt as per taste 7. Black salt - 1/2 tsp or add as per taste 8. Pancha phutana / panch phoron - 1 tsp 9.Green chili: 1no 10. Dry red chili - 1 or add as required 11. Few Curry leaves 12.
