Preben Ven's video: Maxus Euniq Mpv 7 seater test

@Maxus Euniq Mpv 7 seater test
Here is a test and review of the all electric maxus euniq car. Maxus Euniq MPV will be on the market without more of the modern features expected in an electric car in 2020. At the same time, it has an attractive price tag of 400,000 kroner, and is one of the few electric cars that can accommodate seven people or as much luggage. If you can manage with ranges of +/- 200 kilometers in the winter, and do not require to drive far at 110 km / h on the highway often, the Maxus Euniq MPV can therefore have a lot to offer. The first impression of the car was better than expected, the material choices are generally good (not luxurious), the seats were completely comfortable and the ceiling height was massive. The feeling of space is further enhanced by the panoramic roof. Unfortunately, the Maxus Euniq MPV, as mentioned, lacks essential electric car functions, such as display of battery percentage and outdoor temperature. It should be possible to fix this with a software update. It also does not have the option of presetting heating via the app or directly in the car, nor a heat pump that can save electricity for heating in winter. These points would provide a significant advantage considering that at times it takes a relatively large amount of power to heat the large compartment. In winter, it will therefore be a good idea to turn on the heat, a quarter of an hour before driving, while the car is still connected to the charging box. This routine worked at least in this test. In terms of safety, the car has not been crash-tested by Euro NCAP, but should have received five stars from the corresponding China NCAP - which admittedly does not have as strict test routines. In addition to standard airbags and anti-spin / anti-skid, the car has active safety equipment such as brake assist, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, hill start assist and 360-degree camera that provides a good overview of the surroundings. Possibility of a trailer up to 400 kilos is practical, as well as the car has rails and is type approved for roof load (actual weight currently unknown). Three plus Low price Lots of space for people and luggage Can pull trailer Three minus Lacks the possibility of preheating Lacks active heating and cooling of battery pack The chassis layout should allow more payload Technical data Maxus Euniq MPV Exclusive Power (kW / hp) 130/177 Torque (Nm) 310 Range (stated, mixed, WLTP, km) 260 Consumption (stated, mixed, WLTP, kWh / mil) - Consumption (fixed round, kWh / mile) 1.95 Battery performance (net / gross, kWh) 48 * / 52.5 Onboard charger (kW AC) 7 Net weight (kg) 1,810 LxWxH (m) 4.82x1.82x1.78 Luggage compartment (l, to top of seat back - 7/5 seats) 300/725 ** Top speed (km / h) 160 0-100 km / h (sec) 9.5 Price (starting price, OFV, NOK) 399,900 Tire type (test car): Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 Tire dimension (test car): 215/55 R17
