My acne prone skin has its healed days and even months but on some days like today (2nd photo) my skin breaks out due to stress and junk food or even during my periods. (4th photo is from 2019) I also regularly visit my dermats to help me with skin treatments like carbon peels and laser treatments. Basically what I’m trying to say is that skin texture is normal and acne can be treated but it’s a long journey so buckle up. 🙌🏼 You can still break out even after using good skincare ingredients if your stress levels are off the roof and if your nutrition isn’t balanced. 💁🏻‍♀️ Don’t let social media fool you because most of us try to put our best photos and videos but I feel like our acne photos and scars and everything in between should be our best photos too 💜 I hope this inspires you to embrace your body because she’s come a long way with you 🌈 (I don’t have PCOS. I have naturally acne prone skin and my skin gets troubled when I’m stressed or if I eat junk food and maskne)
