Derek Wells is multi-instrumentalist and producer who has contributed to more than one hundred singles for artists including Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Lady A, Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney, Shakira, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line and more. He has produced projects for Hardy, Scotty McCreery, Maddie & Tae, and Lainey Wilson. Wells has been named the Academy of Country Music’s Guitar Player of the Year twice, and was named MusicRow Guitarist of the Year in 2022.
