If your heart is pure she will be your guardian and protector, and you will be rewarded with peaceful bliss and clarity of mind. --- The Anjanas are benevolent water dwelling spirits that live near creek and ponds like Greek Naiads, but in Iberian Mythology, in particular North of Spain by the Cantabrian Sea. Unlike their vengeful counterparts (mermaids, lamias, nymphs, russalki, undines) these water elementals are of benevolent nature, guardians of the forest, tending to injured animals and trees struck by lightning. Often wearing water colours and garlands they live in ponds and fountains and sometimes keep treasures in underwater grottos. Also one of my favourite fairytales is "Undine" a very sad Romance written by Baron de la Motte Fouque in 1811, and probably my favourite book about these mythological beings. ----- As always find "fufunchis" (4 🐀🐀🐀🐀) in the video.
