ROSE CREME BRULEE TOPPED WITH ROSE WHIPPING CREAM | COOK WITH COMALI RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Whipping cream - 1 cup
rose petals
egg yolk - 2
milk - ¼ cup
sugar - ½ cup
water
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1.In a pan boil ¼ cup water and add some rose petals.Keep it on low flame for about 5-10 minutes and then filter the rose water.
2.In a bowl take 2 egg yolk.Add ¼ cup sugar and beat until it becomes creamy.Add 2 tsp rose water and mix well.
3.In a pan take ¾ cup whipping cream and ¼ cup milk.Off the flame once it heats up.Do no boil it.
4.When the cream mixture becomes warm add it to the beaten egg little by little and mix well.
5.Once its well combined filter it and transfer to the bowl used for baking.
6.Cook it in a kadai with boiling water and a plate in the middle.Place the bowl and cook with the lid closed for about 45 minutes on low-medium flame.
7.Once it cools down refrigerate it for nearly 2 hours.
8.In a pan take 4 tsp sugar and 1 tbsp water.Let it caramelize.
9.Add the caramelized sugar on the bowl and spread it.
10.For the rose whipping cream take ¼ cup whipping cream,2 tsp powdered sugar and 2 tsp rose water and beat until it becomes stiff peak.
11.Keep the bowl and beater in the freezer for about 10 minutes so the the cream gets whipped faster.
