హుజురాబాద్ ఉపఎన్నిక ఆలస్యం || Will Huzurabad by-poll be delayed? || The Election Commission of India (EC) has sent notices to national and regional political parties asking them for suggestions on the bypolls that are slated to happen in the country. The EC's notice states that several guidelines and instructions for campaigning and conducting general elections and bypolls during the Covid-19 pandemic have been issued by the commission already and are available on its website. In addition, the parties' suggestions and views on the topic have been invited and are to be submitted by August 30, the notice states. After suggestions have been received from the parties, the Election Commission will prepare exhaustive guidelines on the matter of conducting the required bypolls. In West Bengal, bypolls are to be held in five assembly constituencies. However, no date has so far been issued for the same. The ruling All India Trinamool Congress has met the Election Commission multiple times to urge them to conduct the bypolls.
