Progressbd's video: Rajshahi University Students Killed in Shootout by BD Police Sub -Feb5 2015

Description; Sahabuddin, the Information & Research secretary of the Rajshahi University branch of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir (Students’ org), has died. 2 more have been shot. As a protest against the incident, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has called for a 48-hour-long strike in Rajshahi division starting from 8 February Sunday 6 o’clock in the morning. K. M. Ariful Haq, Additional Police Superintendent in Jessore, has claimed that last night police challenged a microbus in the Ramnagar Picnic Corner area on the Jessore-Khulna highway. During this, bombing and shooting at the police were conducted from the microbus, so police also started shooting in counter. In this, Shahidul Islam got shot. Then he was admitted into Jessore Medical College Hospital and doctors in duty confirmed his death. 5 bombs and few bullet shells have been recovered from the spot of the incident. Another student of Rajshahi University also was shot by the police.
