Project R's video: GT Sport: Vulcan vs P1 GTR Drag Races

Two British Hypercars go head to head in a straight line battle. Neither are legal for the road. The 2015 Aston Martin Vulcan uses a 7.0L naturally aspirated V12 engine producing a total output of 831hp and 590lb-ft of torque. All of this is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed single clutch transmission. The Vulcan has a curb weight of 1360kg. The 2014 McLaren P1 GTR on the other hand, uses a 3.8L twin turbocharged V8 engine paired with an electric motor to produce a combined total output of 1000hp and 723lb-ft. The McLaren makes use of a 7-speed dual clutch transmission to send all of this power to the rear wheels. Weighing in at 1440kg, we can say it is obvious which car will be the victor.
