Prudent Media Goa's video: EXCISE SCAM: UDC TWO INSPECTORS SUSPENDED

Commissioner of Excise has issued an order placing two Excise Inspectors along with UDC Harish Naik under suspension pending disciplinary proceedings against them. UDC Harish Naik is the key suspect in the scam. He allegedly issued fake receipts towards Excise license renewals to swindle money in his favour.  As per the order, they have been called back to the Headquarters and cannot leave without prior permission.  As per sources, Rs 28.70 lakh has been recovered with an interest of Rs 10 lakh. Earlier in the day, Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira demanded the arrest of the main culprit.  “This scam runs deep. I challenge the government to arrest him.
