Puppet Nerd's video: Puppet Tears ep 048 Martin Robinson returns to talk Helpsters Puppet History more

@Puppet Tears, ep 048 — Martin Robinson returns to talk Helpsters, Puppet History, + more!
We're finishing up Fan Appreciation Month with an incredible visit from our friend Martin Robinson. Martin is the legendary puppeteer you know from Sesame Street, Little Shop of Horrors, and the new show from Sesame Workshop and Apple TV+ Helpsters where he performs Mr. Primm. His Halloween-horror musical-comedy All Hallows Eve had its first off Broadway run last October. As a returning guest, Martin catches up on various developments since our last conversation including filming content for Sesame Street and Helpsters from his home, his process for accessing the characters he performs, and what it meant to finally see his passion project make its way to a live theatrical audience. We also discuss a topic he most wanted to bring up, what style of puppetry he hopes will see a resurgence, and what he does to stay in character while performing Mr. Primm! PLUS: he shows us the furry star to one of his "pet" projects Taxi Dog.
