This is my new playthrough and the first one I have ever recorded on PS4! I have recently got my hands on a free PS4 that I received as a gift. When it comes to consoles, I am more of a retro guy, so this will be my most modern console now (not counting all the "mini" consoles, etc.). One of the first games I would like to try out is Biomutant. It is still pretty expensive on PC and I was able to buy it cheap for the console. Hence this playthrough. From what I have read, the reviews for this game have been mixed and most people were disappointed with the gameplay, combat and other elements of the game. That is why I am jumping into the game without any high expectations. I do not look for a ground-breaking title - with that mindset, it will be easier for me to look at the game objectively. The main problem of the gaming community lately has been that most people expect too much from every new release, lose themselves to hype and, when it comes to opinion, jumping on the bandwagon. I am just expecting an open world in an unusual setting, with some fluent combat and good graphics (because PS4 graphics still look great even today). Oh, and I set the language of the voices in the game (or the "voice" because the only person speaking seems to be the narrator) to Japanese, because I think it fits great the general look and atmosphere of the game (sort of Akira Toriyama vibes).
