Opis po polsku: Legend: Hand of God to wydana w 2007 roku gra niemieckiego studia Master Creating. Będąc mieszanką cRPG i klasycznego hack'n'slasha, tytuł oferował luźną rozgrywkę w klimatach Diablo. Tak przynajmniej to zapamiętałem, gdy grę ograłem praktycznie za jednym przysiadem jakoś tuż po premierze. Czy jednak wytrzymała ona próbę czasu? Właśnie o tym chciałem się przekonać, odpalając ją w 2022 roku z zamiarem przejścia możliwie jak najszybciej, by odtworzyć wrażenia sprzed kilkunastu lat. Fabuła opowiada historię Targona, który musi ocalić świat przed zagładą (w tym zakresie, gra nie charakteryzuje się niczym oryginalnym). Wyruszamy w podróż w poszukiwaniu fragmentów starożytnego artefaktu - Ręki Bogów. W naszej wyprawie wspomaga nas "żywy" kursor w postaci małej elfki, która komentuje bieżące wydarzenia, lecz także zachowanie naszego bohatera. W polskiej wersji językowej głosu "kursorowi" użyczyła Joanna Jabłczyńska - i pamiętam, że strasznie mnie irytowała... No nic, zobaczmy jak będzie tym razem :) W tej części: po otrzymaniu misji odnalezienia części Ręki Bogów, kieruję się dalej na wschód. Tutaj doświadczam pierwszego drobnego zawodu - zróżnicowanie przeciwników nie powala. Choć świat zalały hordy demonów, walczę głównie z wilkami i bandytami. Docieram do wioski Turint, skąd wyruszam na cmentarz, gdzie toczę walkę z bossem z pierwszego aktu(?). Walka z nim jest tak na marginesie mało ekscytująca. English description: Legend: Hand of God is a game developed by a German studio called Master Creating and released in 2007. Being a mixture of a cRPG and a standard hack'n'slash, the game offered a casual experience similar to the one in Diablo. At least that is how I remembered it when I played through the game almost in one sitting just after its release. However, did it age well? That is what I wanted to check by playing it in 2022 – with the intent of finishing the game as quickly as possible in order to recreate the experience I had a dozen years ago. The plot tells the story of Targon who must save the world from destruction (nothing original here). We embark on a journey to seek for fragments of an ancient artifact - the Hand of God. We are accompanied by a "live" cursor - a small fairy that comments on current events in the game, but also on the actions of our protagonist. In the Polish version of the game, the voice actress of the "cursor" was Joanna Jabłczyńska and I found that really annoying back in the day... Well, let's see how it will be this time :) In this part: After receiving the mission to find the parts of the Hand of God, I travel further to the east. Here, I experience the first minor disappointment – the enemy variation is very poor. Althought the world has been flooded with hordes of demons, I mostly fight wolves and bandits. I eventually reach the village of Turint from which I go to the local cemetery to kill the boss of the first act(?). Just for the record, fighting him is very anti-climactic.
