नेपाली भाषी समुदायको वाहुल्यता रहेको दार्जेलिङ पहिले नेपालको भुभागमा पर्ने पर्यटकिय क्षेत्र हो । सन १८१६ मा नेपाल र इष्ट इण्डिया कम्पनी वीचमा भएको सुगौली सन्धी पश्चात यो क्षेत्र हाल भारतको पश्चिम बंगाल प्रान्त अन्तर्गत पर्दछ । यहाँ घुम्दा नेपालमै घुमे जस्तो अनुभुती हुने गर्दछ । भौगोलिक रुपमा विश्वको जुनसुकै स्थानमा रहे पनि नेपालीहरुमा एकता,सहयोग र सहिष्णुता पाइन्छ । यहाँ नेपाली रुपैयाँ नचल्ने कारण मात्र भारतमा रहेछु भन्ने आभाष हुन्छ । भ्रमण क्रममा यस स्थानमा कैद गरिएका दृश्यावलीको यो पहिलो भाग हो वाँकी भागहरु पनि क्रमस हेर्न सक्नुहुनेछ ।
