Hello @Pushpalbanerjee The Indian Railways is the heart of India. And life is pumped to this heart principally through the network of local trains driven by humble heroes called motormen. This very special category of loco pilots are usually the first ones to be blamed by the masses when the slightest of errors occur, but they go unnoticed when the duty is performed well. Hence it is essential to highlight their role in keeping the Indian Railways alive. Through rain, fog and scorching heat these people keep our trains running on schedule. Their experience and expertise instills a sense of security in every passenger. More than just professiinals, they become gurdians of the Indian Railways itself. Today we bid adieu to one such loco pilot, Mr Tamal Dey . He joined service on 7th of April 1989 and has been a part of the system for 34 long years. He defines the Railways vast as the ocean, and expresses gratidute for being a part of it. Before embarking on his final ride in sealdah Dankuni slow EMU, he states his invaluable words of advice for the future generation of motormen. He said, progress of the Indian Railway largely depends on the efficiency of the locopilots. So one must perform his duty with alertness and dedication. Taking care of ones mental and physical welbeing too, is a part of commitment towards the job. Looking back, his journey has been a reflection of dedication, passion and skill. On behalf of millions of people you have served, I say : Thank you sir. Your presence and your camaraderie will be deeply missed. We say goodbye to you with a heavy heart. We will miss you every moment, sir. And we sincerely wish you lots of happiness for the new journey ahead of your life.
