QE Adventures's video: first SOLO FLIGHT at 16 years old

A pilot's first solo flight consists of 3 take-offs and landings. Two days after my 16th birthday, I flew my first solo flight. The airplane was a Cessna Skywatcher Lite-sport 162. I've been working with instructor John Dennis since I was 14. I learned to fly at the Lake Norman Airpark in Mooresville, NC. I was nervous, but excited. I flew for about 20 minutes then made my final landing at the Lincoln County Regional Airport in Lincolnton, NC. I taxied in and John cut my shirt tails, a signal that I was finally a pilot. I'm looking forward to making many more flights on my own as I work to earn my full pilot's license. I'm planning to earn that on my 17th birthday, in November 2017. I'll continue making videos of the flights and will post them on YouTube. My brother and father shot the solo plane flight using GoPro Hero 4 and 5 cameras mounted in the Cessna, and a Canon 80D on the ground.
