Adding a work surface to the DC chest freezer to make it into a functional area. A0 - 36" x 48" cutting mat: https://amzn.to/3Ki2I02 Cut down to fit 41" x 27" freezer lid. PVC angle, 1-1/2" x 3/4" x 1/8": https://www.mcmaster.com/products/angles/wall-thickness~1-8/?s=pvc+angles Enough angle to fit the perimeter of the cutting mat. Amazing Goop - Automotive adhesive: https://amzn.to/3nPOVWW Glue the angle to the underside of the mat, notch the corners so they sit flat. The sides and back have the long side of the angle facing up. The front has the short side of angle facing down. If needed, make a notch to fit around the lid handle.
