R H's video: The abuse of Customer Service Employees

I work in customer service and have done for the past three years. In those three years I have experienced countless instances of mistreatment from customers. And I'm not the only one. I believe the acceptance of customer service employees abuse is real and normalised. Please watch the whole video to discover what I found. *Not all the stories I talk about in this video would be defined as abuse, yet I believe each piece of rudeness and mistreatment builds up to the bigger levels of abuse. But the reality is I really couldn't find any. Abuse from customers is not being talked about in mainstream media, yet it is a huge issue. There are no formal consequences for some of the acts mentioned in this video, as the responsibility falls of the employer, but customer environments are typically such fast paced environments where the pressure to please customers are so high, these situations can be so difficult to deal with. The reality is that it needs to be known that it is not okay to disrespect people who are just doing their job. They do not owe customers anything that isn't part of that job. This video is about how we treat each other, and how we can all do better.
