Indian Railways will run six pairs of trains including BGP LTT from 2nd February. Big relief to travelers, Silk City will be connected to many cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Gaya, Howrah, Muzaffarpur, Danapur-Intercity Janseva Express to Start Finally. Physical distance will continue to be observed in this corona period.
Six pairs of trains, which have been closed for 11 months due to covid, will resume operations from 2nd February. Railways has allowed the re-operation of trains as follows: Gaya-Howrah, LTT-Bhagalpur, Bhagalpur Danapur Intercity, Janseva, Farakka and Malda-Patna Express. Great relief for passengers from Patna, Buxar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. Silk City will once again connect with several states including Delhi, Mumbai. All trains will run as specials. Covid rules will be followed. One has to travel only by getting reservation in general coach.
Actually, the trains have been closed since March 23 due to the lockdown. Many trains have been running as special from June onwards. Now, due to the matter of Corona being reduced, the Railways has again started preparing to run long distance trains. A list of 123 trains has been released by the Railway Board. There are six pairs of trains from Malda Railway Division.
Booking of tickets will begin on 31st January 8am.Booking of tickets for trains will start from Saturday to Sunday. DRM Yatendra Kumar informed that more trains will run soon. A proposal has been sent for this.
Train will be available for Patna in the morning
with the commencement of the Bhagalpur-Danapur Intercity, Bhagalpur will get a train in the morning to go to Patna. There is not a single train from Bhagalpur to Patna in the morning. Hence, passengers have to depend on Vikramshila and other trains. However, the running of Intercity will help passengers. Bhagalpur-Danapur Intercity will not stop at Masudan station.
North Bihar will connect with Bhagalpur
The same train from Bhagalpur to North Bihar (Muzaffarpur) is Janseva Express. The operation of this train is closed for 11 months. In such a situation, people here depend on the bus to go to Muzaffarpur. Due to public service, Bhagalpur will connect North Bihar. Janavseva Express will not stop at Abhaypur and Kajra station in the down route.
These 6 trains will be operational:
- Bhagalpur-Danapur Intercity - from 2 February
- Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Janseva Express - two from February
- Malda-Patna Tri-Weekly Express - From 3rd February onwards, Patna (4th February)
- Malda-Delhi Farakka Express - from 2 February
- Bhagalpur-Lokmanya Tilak Super Fast Express - From February 2, from LTT February 4.
-Howrah-Gaya Express departs Howrah from 2nd Feburary, departs Gaya from 3rd Feburary.
