HMS Diamond in 1/96 scale. The model has been in storage for many years and is in the process of being refurbished. This is the first time that it has been on water and the loud noise is due to a lose connection between the prop shaft and motor. The new owner was giving the model a shake down to see how it operates and performs. History by wikipedia HMS Diamond was a Daring-class destroyer of the British Royal Navy. She was built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, and launched on 14 June 1950. This ship was John Brown & Company's first all-welded ship (as opposed to the riveted construction more commonly used up to that time)
