Doce personas resultaron heridas anoche en Pasai San Pedro, en Guipúzcoa, como consecuencia del estallido de un bidón de gasolina de pequeñas dimensiones al proceder a encender la hoguera de San Juan. Al parecer, el bidón había sido utilizado para rociar las maderas y se encontraba casi vacío en el momento del accidente. La hoguera estaba ubicada junto al embarcadero que une los distritos de San Pedro y San Juan. El estallido se produjo en el mismo momento en que se prendía fuego a la hoguera, alrededor de las 22.10 horas. Según informó la Guardia Municipal de la localidad, uno de los heridos fue trasladado rápidamente al hospital con quemaduras en el rostro y en la frente. Se trata de un hombre de 44 años y al cierre de esta edición se desconocía el alcance de las quemaduras sufridas por esta p.ersona al encender la hoguera de San Juan de este distrito pasaitarra. Otras dos personas también tuvieron que ser trasladadas a un hospital, estas por cortes producidos por tablones que salieron despedidos por la explosión. Finalmente, tres personas más también resultaron heridas con cortes, aunque más leves, y fueron atendidas por sanitarios en el mismo lugar de los hechos, sin que fuera necesario su traslado a un hospital.
