SMRT has made a police report on a boy who deliberately prevented a platform screen door from closing at Jurong East MRT station. This was after a video of the boy who filmed himself doing so made rounds on TikTok and Reddit. SMRT makes police report In response to Mothership's queries, Lam Sheau Kai, the President of SMRT Trains said that the incident happened on Feb. 28. 5pm. SMRT takes a "serious view of such behaviour" and has reported this matter to the police, Lam added. The "irresponsible act" could pose a danger for "the person involved" and also cause delays to train services, affecting other commuters, Lam said.
