Footage from CSMA Boundless karting at Whilton Mill, Daventry - Tuesday 10th May 2022. PM Heat 2 - Literally been over 10yrs since i raced at this place - and took a bit of time to get back up to speed - but Kart No.24 in the afternoon was much more racy than the kart i had in the morning sessions - with better pick-up out of the slower corners and up the hill - which meant i could actually make some progress forward.... However, i managed to get embroiled in a bit of a pile-up in the first couple of laps - where 3 karts ended up spinning in front of me going into the Boot - and i couldn't avoid Kart No.21 that was heading in the wrong direction in an attempt to recover - so dropped almost to the back and had to fight back up to 16th from an original grid slot of 8th.....but it was good fun! Went 7 10ths faster than my best AM laptime as a result - with a best PM laptime of 58.386!! RM ; )
