Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh, the 2021 125 Duke demands Rs 8,000 more than the outgoing model. Updates include an all-new design that is now identical to the rest of the Duke range, a new split trellis frame, larger fuel tank and more After launching the BS6 390 Duke and the 250 Duke, and giving substantial updates to the 200 Duke earlier in the year, KTM has now brought in the 2021 125 Duke. Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh, the 125 Duke is now almost Rs 8,000 dearer than before. KTM introduced the BS6 compliant 125 Duke in January this year at Rs 1.38 lakh, and subsequently in May revised the prices across its model range with the entry-level Duke priced at Rs 1.42 lakh. Just like the 200 Duke, this entry-level offering gets some substantial updates. It is now based on a new split-trellis frame – just like the rest of the Duke range, and gets a bolt-on sub-frame. The suspension components – upside down forks at the front and the monoshock at the rear – have been carried forward from the outdoing model. In fact, the 2021 125 Duke continues to be shod with MRF tyres as well. While in the international market, the 125 Duke gets a dual-channel ABS with the Supermoto mode, in India it continues to be fitted with a single-channel ABS. The other big change is in the design department, with the 125 Duke now sporting the 1290 Super Duke R inspired design. It continues to be fitted with halogen headlamps but now gets LED DRLs. The new design has also allowed KTM to fit the 125 Duke with a large 13.5 litre fuel tank, which is an increase of 2.5 litres. At the heart, the entry point into the Duke family continues to get the BS6 compliant 124.71cc single-cylinder motor that products 14.3bhp and 12Nm. Unlike most other motorcycles in the 125cc space, this one gets liquid cooling and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.   The first batch of the MY21 KTM 125 Duke has already arrived at dealerships and deliveries are likely to commence soon.
