@S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Misery 2.1.1 - A Black Road - Ep 52: Bloodsuckers for Days
************************************************************ NOTE: This is a modified copy of episode 52 published back on April 16, 2015 that should resolve a music copyright issue that muted the video audio. If you already watched this episode, then there is nothing new for you to see in this video. ************************************************************ The 52nd episode in a "Let's Play" series for the Misery 2.1.1 full concept mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat. In this episode we are reminded that Zaton is still a dangerous place despite the experience we gained at Yanov. After a surprise skirmish with mercs, we agree to help Grouse search for a missing stalker in the dangerous areas of south Zaton. Many bloodsuckers are found. Feel free to share any tips and knowledge on the game that I might have missed, as well as any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod suggestions :-) Recorded using ShadowPlay and edited using Windows Movie Maker. Like the Facebook page for my channel to track updates on upcoming videos: https://www.facebook.com/RRCMRico ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Released on 19 March 2014, this mod graphically overhauls S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat into a bleaker and more beautiful environment, and it drastically changes the gameplay with added realism and substantially increased difficulty in certain modes offered. This playthrough is using the Assaulter class and in the "Black Road" mode where the protagonist starts in an inhospitable area of the zone with only a knife, artifact tongs, and a military ID. Starting with episode 6, the infinite NPC ammo option is set to off and the "health_restore_v" value is set to "0.00000 ;0.0001". The health restore value tweak was done per the advice at this thread: http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-misery/forum/thread/loosing-health Starting with episode 18, patch 2.1.1 is used. Starting with episode 32, the Performance Texture Pack is used. Starting with episode 34, episodes are available in 60 FPS and lower graphics settings (described near the bottom of this description) are used to achieve stable FPS that is usually 60+. Thanks to Litosns for pointing out the following steps to get 3rd person mode working properly in Misery 2.1: 1. Make a back up of xrGame.dll 2. Unpack Cut X-ray Pack 1 for CoP to any folder you want Link: http://www.moddb.com/mods/cut-x-ray-project-soc-cs-cop/downloads/cut-x-ray-pack-1-for-cop-1602 3. Copy xrGame.dll to custom folder 4. Copy patch_zp, patcher.exe to same folder as xrGame.dll 5. Copy from 5_cam_2_fix xrGame.dif file to same folder as xrGame.dll 6. Run patch_zp and copy xrGame.dll to your Call of Pripyat bin folder.
