Přestože zaniklých staveb je v Lednicko-valtickém areálu hned několik, pouze jedna zmizela ze zemského povrchu z politicko-mocenských důvodů. O obnovu Katzelsdorfského zámečku usiluje spolek, který vznikl před dvěma roky ve Valticích. Jeho předseda, Daniel Lyčka, uspořádal ve spolupráci s valtickou knihovnou poslední sobotu v měsíci září komentované prohlídky pro veřejnost.
