You can take any train from Sealdah to Barrackpore at Kharadhaha station and then take Toto to reach here or you can take any bus from Shyambazar to Barrackpore and reach Kharadaha from there. Kharadaha is known as a favorite place of Vaishnavism in the history of Bengal. This is why the footprints of both Sri Chaitanya and Nityananda Prabhu are found here. Besides, the idol of the famous Shyamsundara temple is brought to this stage during the rush and the fair goes around it. It is a sacred place to the locals.
