This past weekend I went to Paris. I got to see my friend Veena from high school and stay with her! She goes to school there and is the best person to have show you around! I got to see different cool neighborhoods each night. I loved the Louvre. I felt like I could stare some pieces for a lifetime. It is amazing to see how talented different artists were. Then I got to see the parks and the Eiffel Tower. I kept freaking out because I was seeing everything that I had only seen in movies or in picture finally in person. Next we went to Versailles which was incredible. It was so over the top. My favorite part was the gardens. Since its fall, the trees were so beautiful. The light made the leaves glow. I'm so grateful to have been able to go on this trip. A lot of people told me not to go because it was so expensive but I'm glad I did because it was worth every penny (or euro?). The trip in general taught me to take advantage of life and the opportunities it presents you.
